    Help with Silent Hill (PS1)......please!

I've read numerous faqs on gamefaqs.com and cannot get past this puzzle. I'm absolutley sure that i'm doing everything correctly - I've tried it so many times that I'm almost convinced there's a bug in the game (obviously there isn't, or else it would be known by now!).

Anyway, I'm near the end of the game in the 'nowhere' stage. I'm at a puzzle where there's an alter in the middle of the room, two pictures on the left and right sides, and also corresponding doors to the left and right sides. I've used the camera on the pictures and the shapes have appeared. I've tried numerous times and failed to enter the codes onto the doors. When I enter the codes onto one of the doors, then press any sort of button to get out, the buttons all reset on the puzzle, and I don't get any further.

Please rule out the possibility that I've pressed the wrong buttons to make the shapes - I've honestly done this at least ten times.

    Any ideas?

dude, this ones kinda a no brainer.......... your lucky cosive jus completed this game, having played it for the first time.

Basicaly you need the camera, then use the camera on the two paintings on either side. This will make a flas allowing you to see the code for the door. Hope that helps mate. I think the camera is located on the 1st or 2nd floor of the hospital, in one of the rooms. Let me know how you get on m8.

oops jus read yah thread properly! doh! basically you must be entering the code wrong. where there is a triangle, leave no space for the center of it. on the key pad. If you know what i mean. Also you dont need to press any button if you enter the coe correctly. As it altomatically unlocks the door. So unless you input it correctly you dont need to quit out of the screen. again hope i have helped.
