Xbox Live Gamertag Questions

I have just brought a Japanese 360, and I understand that my UK Gamertag will be compatible with it.

The thing is i'd like to create a Silver US Gamertag and a Silver JPN Gamtertag for the market place and for games that require extra payment (like PSU).

I know theres a guide to doing such a thing on here somewhere - but I cant find it, can someone please confirm:

a) My UK Gamertag is compatible with my new JPN Machine

b) US/JPN Gamertag's can be created, and if possible a link to the guide...

one thing - when I tried to complete my US Gamertag - it offers me a free 1 month gold trial - and whilst I dont need it I need to fill it out.

How have people joined as silver members despite this?

It's always give's newly registered gamertags (upto 3 'tags per machine I belive) a months free Gold trial, once the month's Gold trial run's out, you will be reverted back to a silver membership.

Bit confused by your question, but rest assured, there's nothing you can't do on the Gold trial that you can't do on a silver membership.

I joined as a silver member for both my US and JPN accounts and it automatically upgraded me to gold for a month.

oh sorry, basically - I filled in all of the details - and confirmed the agreement, then it asks me for specifics on the address when in the 1 month gold screen and im not sure what to write there, and I cant complete a silver membership without filling that in....

I used an actual City, State and Zip Code and made the street address up.
