    Anybody ordered from Gamestation's website before?

    Just placed an order on GS' website. After entering my CC details & submitting my order I received a message 'error in application' rather than getting an order summary. Not received a confirmation e-mail from them either.

    Looking at my Recent Orders in my account the order details are shown but it has a status of 'PreAuthPending'. Not used them before so not sure if that's normal or not.....any ideas?

    I ordered a copy of Black from them in late spring and they kept phoning me up and apologising because their computer system was crapping on my order. I had to cancel my order about three or four times before they finally got the message.

    On the plus side, they refunded me more than once.

      I ordered from them once a few months ago and didn't have any problems what so ever. BTW don't think thats normal tom-nook as i don't remember that happening to me

        I ordered a game (marked as in stock).... 2 WEEKS later they mailed me to say it's out of stock. Will never use them again. Proper ****.

          They don't seem to have a good system for online sales, as I remember I cancelled my order with them after waiting for too long.

            Thanks for the replies guys....will give them a call in the morning.

            If they start suggesting I cancel my order & place a new one I think I'll tell them to shove it as it doesn't sound like they're too hot!!

              Easier said than done. Nobody can be ar***d to answer the phoneft:

              Oh well I'll keep trying & e-mail them as well in the hope I finally get a response from somebody....

              Will stick to their shops in future I think.

                  Yeah really starting to regret it & ain't gonna be pleased if they bill me for it without sending any games out.

                  After phoning them every hour throughout the day & it just ringing off I finally got through to someone at 3pm. Unfortunately the number GS quote on their site for any order problems is just their regular sales hotline. The staff there couldn't even view my order (their system takes 24-48 hours to update apparently) & the guy I spoke to didn't have a scooby about any of the order status codes. Basically I need to call back again tomorrow again (if I can get through)....

                  Can't believe how amateur they seem in comparison to the likes of Game & Gameplay et al. They could really have done with making sure their system worked properly before it went live & had proper customer support in place to deal with 'technical' questions.

                    Same thing happened to me, but I think it was sometihng to do with me placing an order just as it hit 12am. So I tried again about 30mins later & it went thru no probs.
                    I've ordered stuff from them b4 & some games arrived that had obviously been sent from a store because they were open & the discs werent too hot.

                    I'm a bit pissed off because I ordered Perfect Dark Zero (29.99) & Call Of Duty 2 (34.99) on the buy 1 get 1 free offer, then the next day I see they lowered the price of Call Of Duty 2 to 29.99!!.
                    BASTS!! (I'm a real tight arse aint I!!).
