Reigon free 360 on PAL TV

I did search the site before asking this but other people have been telling me different things:

What cable do I need to play an NTSC reigon free game on a PAL 360 on a PAL TV that supports 60hz. I ask because I expect to get GoW tomorrow and I only have a old Panasonic TV. Some have told me that any cable will work others have told me I need component cables (the ones you get with premium 360 which I don't have, will that work in any TV) I've been told to get RGB and I've been told I can't use the TV and I need to use a monitor via a VGA cable.

Does anyone know from experience? Some one must have a PAL 360 and imported a Tom Clancy game or something.

    Thanks.

edit: to clarify, GoW NTSC on a 60hz PAL TV on a PAL 360. What cable should I be using?

any cable will be fine, be it composite (yellow/white/red, comes with the core), rgb, s-video, component or vga.

the only thing you need to know is if your television definitely isn't too old to play 60hz games, be they pal60 or ntsc. the good thing about the 360 is that if you enable pal60 then the dashboard instantly starts running in 60hz so you don't need a game to test this.

if your 360 is already set to pal60 and it displays just fine, then you're good to go.

regarding needing an rgb scart for 60hz, i think nintendo said you need an rgb scart for 60hz games even though it was pal60. although nintendo are a bit dopey at times when it comes to technical stuff! i've never come across a television that has issues with 60hz unless running in rgb. heck, my old sony telly which is older than i am, probably like 25 years or something, plays pal60 stuff just fine and it only has an aerial socket!

Yeah I have my 360 running on PAL60 all the time using the scart you get with the 360.

      Thanks a lot, really appreciated
