Can you get online over here with a JPN PS3 unit?

I'm eBaying it if not, so I'd appreciate the help. Not so bothered about the PS3 store, but I would like to play against some others online. I can't seem to find out anywhere else.

By all accounts, online is fine.

Marketplace is currently a no go as you need a Japanese credit card.

That may all change this weekend with the US launch though as it might depend on where you tell them you are when you set up your profile.

No need for a credit card i signed up downloaded the blast factor demo and RR7 demo easy enough on neogaf they have a walkthrough its simple find a japanese address and off you go

so by monday will i be able to set my hk ps3 up with a us account, with full english online ect? if anyone knows a guide for 1st time importers like me it be a great help thanks

Well Ive spent an hour looking all over Gaf and couldnt find a guide for it

Friday should enable USA region as well all being well so it might be easier for us westerners.
