If you go to the site directly rather than use that link ( which doesn't load the shopping site properly ) you can add a 2nd hand PS3 to your basket fine.

Has anyone used the slower USPS Global Express Mail service (takes 4-7 days as opposed to UPS' 2 apparently)? It's $100 cheaper, so tempted to use it instead..

Still debating it mate. Not sure whether to go for a Jap or US system NCSX told me to mention in the comments box if I wanted the value to be marked down for delivery.

Has anyone heard of / ordered from a place called Japan Discount? I managed to stumble across them somehow (google I think) and their price for a 20GB PS3 seems quite good: ?697 / ?470 including EMS shipping.

I don't really want to order from them if I have no idea about how legit they are. I'm on the fence about the PS3 anyway, so I probably won't order even if they are a great shop, but I'd like to know just in case Cheers!

I've never heard of them, but I've just total up a cart with 2 games and it comes to ?472.60 before shipping.

Considering the current inflated prices, I'd suggest that looks a little too good to be true.

IMO, if you've never heard of it before, then normally it's best to stay within the usual channels (NCSX etc.), it's far too much of a gamble with that sort of money at stake. IMO, of course.

If you're ordering on a credit card you'll be able to charge back if things go pear shaped - it's not a massive risk really. I just find it doubtful they're really selling at that price point.

I've taken a look at their payment options:

Bank Transfer Payment
Check/Money Order
PayPal

I guess it depends on how easy it'll be to charge back via PayPal rather than directly with a credit card. Your money is going to disappear out of your account with any of these options whether they have the stock or not.
