Is a German 360 the same as a UK one?

I'm pretty sure on this but it never hurts to check. My mate is thinking about getting a 360 in Germany and wanted to make sure that he can change the language of the dash to English and that UK games will work on it. I'm sure that the games will since both regions are PAL and EU games are EU games but wasn't 100% on the dash. I'd assume that all EU machines are the same but don't wanna get in trouble for a wrong recommendation

Yeah a few people here actually bought german machines at launch.

Yeah, mine is a European model. Besides requiring a plug adaptor, it's exactly the same as a UK model.

Actually, if the console broke down, would he have to send it to Germany or are all EU consoles handled the same?
