What Wireless Modem Router are people using for PS3?

i having problems which i think is accociated with the Wireless Linksys Modem i have as has many people highlighted here:

Just wondering what wireless modems people are using, how far away is your PS3 from the router and whether you are having problems getting online?

I'm one floor up and 2 wall behind my router and when i eventually log-in, the Playstaion Store is very slow to load, and would disconnect often.

Coupled with the so-called problems with the Wii being bricked Via Linksys Wireless modems, I'm thinking about getting this:

Avoid all that "RangeMax", "MIMO" and "Turbo Go-Faster" bollox like the plague. Sure, it works great for the bloke who replies to this saying "I've got one of these and I've never had any problems" but I've tried loads of them & they're all pants.

Wireless is flakey at the best of times - believe it or not, going with experimental, unratified technologies does NOT help. Around here "Pre-N" is a dirty word for "well, it's not ****ing 802.11n, then, is it?"

IMO the DG834G is the one to get. It's very easy to set up and is the most reliable model I've used - now being on its 3rd minor revision, I think. It does VPN very nicely and the only thing on my wishlist is WDS (for multi-AP range-extending networks). Get it from eBuyer, BroadbandBuyer or reconditioned with a short warranty from DigiDave.

          Stroller.
