Most reports seem to suggest the SixAxis pad has better analogue sticks than the ones found on the dual shock. I wonder if this will bring a new lease of life to some PS2 games, has anyone here with a PS3 noticed a difference? For example I started playing KillZone recently (I'd just finished COD3 when I remembered I had this tucked away), it wouldn't be too bad if you could hit what your aiming at. A more accurate pad would really improve it.

SixAxis pad with PS2 games

Said it before here but a controller with no rumble/vibration = empty experience IMHO. So many PS2 games, particularly shooters, integrate the vibration effects into the gameplay. If the PS3 controller has better analogue sticks than the Dualshock(2) that's good news but I would say it's still one step forward, two steps back.
Might as well be using a PC.

Hopefully the SixAxis will be the same.
I appreciate that the Dual Shock design is iconic and and a huge part of the Playstation branding/image, so I can see why Sony have gone with it. On the other hand I'd argue that designing a new pad and keeping the square, triangle, circle and X buttons wouldn't have harmed the image of the machine and would have lead to a far better joypad to hold.
