Anyone know how to do this think I read somewhere you can do it using the FireFox browser? but cant seem to work it out?

There's a few ways (in general), google will tell you
there is a dedicated Firefox "plug in" though somewhere yes.

If you go to "tools" -> "add-ons" in firefox,
you'll get to the extension menu, in the right lower corner you'll find "get extensions"
click on it you'll get to the extensions page.
Click on "download tools" and you'll find some suitable add-ons
to download embedded media, such as ook, unplug and videodownloader.Comment

Have you tried www.youtubex.com ? You just enter the url of the youtube vid and it will download for you.Comment

You`ll either have to get a player for the flash flv files or convert to a format you use. There`s links to free software on the main page of the tubex site under "After I download YouTube Videos how do I watch them? "Comment
