    Wii Controller compatability?

Anybody aware if the Japanese remote would work with an American or PAL machine?

one would assume so, pad's have never been region locked in the past...

As far as I know, only the SNES PAL couldn't work with SNES US or JAP controllers or even some third party controllers.

There is a lock inside the SNES PAL. There are many tutorials on Internet to know how to remove it.

Talking of controllers, how much is the Nunchuck used? Don't most games just use the Wii Remote?

Also, can you play VC games with the Nunchuck and Remote, or do you have to have the Classic controller?

You have to use either the classic controller or a Gamecube pad for SNES and N64 games. PC Engine and NES can use the remote turned sideways.

i never knew what the nunchuk was till zelda, lol. Its required in that to do the spining attack. Id assume the nunchuck would be imperative to moving yah character around in true analogue fashion.

yeah me too! So you don't use it to move in most games? How do you move then??

I think you do use it to move.

Games like tennis in Wii Sports don't require it because you don't have control of your movement - you just hit the ball back.

I'm getting an extra Nunchuck, but I'll use a Gamecube controller rather than getting a Classic.
