XBOX 360 USB ports - can u use a mouse with it?

I've got an Official MS wired Comfort Optical Mouse 3000.

Will it work on my 360 to play LOTR BFME 2?

If not then what can I use the USBs for altogether?

AFAIK, you can use:

Play + Charge kits
USB Keyboards
Wireless adapter
MP3 players with appropriate firmware
wired controllers....

can't think of anything else right now.

Fingers crossed it'll support most stuff that'd benefit from it. Using a Dual Shock pad would be a big plus for Pro Evo fans too!
