xb360 playing xbox games online, against original xbox?

Another new xboxer courtesy of the argos deal, quick question, does anyone know if xbox1 games on live work cross platform xbox1\xb360?

IE if a friend takes forza online in his 360, will we have any issue playing against me on an xbox1?

I played forza online on a 360 at my friends house...I think it downloads some patch first tho...

You won't have any problem playing against someone with an original xbox. You can even system link a 360 and Xbox.

Only done it with Halo2 but it worked fine.

The last time I played Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory it kept crashing when an Xbox user was trying to connect to a co-op story game with a 360 user, and 360 to 360 co-op story had a constantly poor frame rate.

If you're going to be playing Forza, add me "charlesr". Forza and RC2 are the only things I play online now on my xbox.
