    Proxy FTP access

    Anyone know how to get ftp access via a proxy server?
    My webspace is on an ftp that i cannot access from outside of the UK. I can use web based ftp for <500k but larger files cannot be done. Any ideas?

    You'd need a specific ftp proxy to do that... or perhaps some form of http tunnelling software.

      An awful lot of UK ISPs don't allow you to connect to the hosting ftp server if you don't have one of their IP addresses. You might want to check with Tiscali if this is the case.
