Title says it all really, wondered how gameplay differed on the bigger screen size? More accurate pointing? More nackering to play?

Has anyone tried the Wii with a projector yet?

I haven't played the Wii on a projector but I have played a wii, alot. I can be 99% sure that the size of the screen doesnt reflect on user ability. Some games use the sensor bar for cross hair movement so all wii remote movements must be pointed that and not the screen.
Other games like Wii Sports Tennis use gestures and would not differ at all in terms of gameplay. I hope i'm not wrong there

Apparently it's no good using a projector screen & the sensor bar, something about the bar being too small? I'm not 100% on this, just something I read.
Maybe you could try something like this?
Using two candles as a Wii Sensor Bar replacement
Who needs an official Wii Sensor bar when two lit candles can work just as well!
Knowing this, I decided to do an experiment. I turned out all the lights in my living room and lit two candles about three feet apart beneath my projector screen. Surprisingly it worked BETTER than the Sensor Bar when directly in front of the screen (but worse far to the left or right) because of the combination of increased IR light output and increased distance. Any two IR sources will potentially work in this manner (including two TV/DVD remotes with any buttons held).

Mate came round at the weekend with a projector he'd borrowed from work.
First picture is a bit blurry but gives a better indication of the size of picture (from the bottom of the coving to almost the top of the radiator). Had no problems at all with the sensor bar which was on the front of the table shown in the picture.
