Xbox 360 VGA Question

if I plug in my 360 via VGA will it give me the 1920x1080 option? or will I need to use component to get a 1080 signal?

1920x1080 is avaliable over VGA, though I don't know of a HDTV that supports that resolution over VGA.

1920x1080 over VGA is the illustrious 1080p which hardly any TV's support over component and even less over VGA.

Some of the latest Sharp, Phillips and Sony and there are some others too but they are all overly expensive for what they are. Not really much use for this format for the time being IMO.
