Are Wii Accessories multi region?

Okay I'm a bit worried about not being able to get a Nunchuck, Wiimote & RGB Scart when/if my PAL Wii arrives, so will a Japanese or USA version of these accessories, just like u can with the XBOX/PS2/GC/DC?

As far as Im aware you can. They cant region code the accessories.

Has the Japanese versions of the Nunchuck/Wiimote got any different lettering/symbols on the buttons?

Afaik the Wii RGB SCART cable is only sold in Europe. As for the accesoires, I've seen one post from a lucky guy with both a US and a Japanese Wii, and I can't recall him mentioning the Wiimote's were different or didn't work on the other region system.
