    Splitting a VTS file

I need to get a certain piece of film onto its own,to make it into a Quicktime movie i can then email around as a viral.
At the moment it is in a VTS file,so i need to know if it is possible to split the file so i can take what i need?

    Thanks.

by vts are you talking dvd files here?
with dvdshrink you can choose your start/end points if you use the 'reauthor' option.

of course you've mentioned a mac, but in case vdubbing becomes a problem and you can find someone with a pc...
