Gamecube - GBA-SP lead ?

I have had a interact lead to connect my gba - gc since Animal Crossing came out, however since changing from a gba to a sp on jap launch ive noticed that the block on the end of the lead pushes the 2 shoulder buttons down (this makes the zelda link mode unworkable)

Is their a new nintendo lead that works with the sp ?

or a list of leads that do ?

(i could hack up my lead but it would look a bit messy !!)

I have an official (DOL-011) lead brought in the US. I have no problems with that one.

I had exactly the same problem with my gamecube and gbasp and found the only solution was to buy an official lead, although the joytech one at half the price(?4.99 from hmv) looked to be the right size to fit the sp without pushing down the shoulder buttons

Picture the scene, i wanted too hook up to animal crossing back in the day and no where had the official - not like i could wait for a mail order one so i got the fake one in TRU.

Now im paying for it
