I had a similar problem I had got my reds mixed up when plugging in the component cable.

    Check your connections are correct

tried every combination under the sun, just cannot get 480p to display black blacks, they have a green cast over them.. but when its set to 60hz its fine ft: think my tv is up the creek?...

Sounds like it, if it's only on 480p mode that it does it.

Does it do it with other consoles/devices in 480p?

I had a Sony that developed a panel fault after only 13 months. The panel was made by... Samsung.

                Can you take a picture?

Is it an official or third party component cable?

Might be the TV, might be the cable, might be the Wii... know anyone else with a Wii you could try on theirs?

i dont.. only thing I could do is dig out my component leads for my dvd player and see if that produces the same results when running..
