    If importing ain't what it used to be, then pre-ordering systems are also a waste of time. Better off resigning yourself to going straight to ebay for those launch consoles!

      Nah, the best time for importing was earlier than that, '92 - '96 were the golden years I reckon. The MegaDrive/Genesis was essential region free if you dared hack bits off your PAL console, the SNES had that easy to use double cart adapter, and having a Jap N64/PS1 was the coolest of the cool (the real first 'next-gen'). Back then the lead times were much better for importing as well, sometime getting stuff 6-12 months before everyone else!

      I've got consoles before off ebay and never had this much trouble, altho I guess maybe cos there were coming from Japan. My PS3 left the states via airmail on the 2nd, and STILL hasn't been checked into the UK. WTF!

          Hmmmm, my Wii was sent using USPS on Friday. Any of you guys that are familiar with their service got an idea of how long it will take (seller quoted mt 4-10 days, I NEEEEEED my Wii!!) ?.
