    JPN Wii queries

I've done the Brazil thing with my US Wii and can happily access the store and buy stuff from it but am having some problems with my Japanese Wii.
Firstly, I cannot seem to connect to the store at all. I'm not getting an error code, but a screen with some text comes up and I can't get in. I can't remember whether I configured my Internet settings though so I imagine this is the problem.

Which leads me to the second thing - does anyone who has a Japanese Wii got a translation of the settings menu? It seems to have less options than the US one and I'm not sure what I'm clicking into.

Also, can I buy stuff from the shop with a UK credit card? Is there a workaround like there is with the US Wii?

    Cheers.

Sounds like you have to read & accept the user agreement before it will let you connect to the shopping channel. Now assuming your net connection is set up & running. Goto the wii connect 24 option & if you havent got it set up you will just get 1 screen. It will ask you if you want to connect to the net, select the bottom right hand option.

Now a page of text will appear that you can scroll down (the user agreement) select the bottom left button to accept & thats it. You should now be able to connect to the shopping channel.

If you go into that option again there will be 3 options the bottom option is to delete the user agreement. If you do delete it accidentally just repeat the steps above to get back into the shop.

The only option in the menu you should be careful of is the very bottom one on the 3rd page of the options menu as that formats you machine making you lose everything.

if you want i can translate the menu's for you if your still stuck but i cant help with net connection unless your using a wifi dongle as thats the only way i know.

Yes you can use a uk credit card as i discovered yesterday & it dosent even ask for a country location or address (^_^)
