Will UK Zelda save work on US Wii?

Hi all,

Have a UK wii for the moment but moving to US in January and will be getting a US one. Im concerned about starting to play Zelda as I've heard it's huge and I don't know if I will get it finished by the time I move. Does anyone know if the UK save word work on the US wii?

it didnt work on GC game so doubt it but not definate.

Tried a US Zelda save on a UK Wii but it didn't work. Then I renamed the folder on the SD card to be the UK Zelda code instead of US but the Wii just came up with "???" as the save name.

If you look in the save file itself, there's the same code which could be hex-edited to be the UK one, but the save was only a couple of hours in so just started again. Would be interesting to see if you could get it working by editing the file.

No.

No surprise whatsoever, but annoying in this day and age ( and I've told them that).

Oh well, crazy race to complete Zelda before the 5th Jan begins.
