JPN Wii's & credit cards in UK

Well thats a suprise.

I was bored tonight & running low on wii points so i thought id give it a go buying some with my visa.

I selected 1000 points to test & then selected the visa card button then put in my number/expiry date/ & ccv number.

Pressed ok & bam instant points, it never even asked for a country or billing address!!!!

I have no idea why, i wonder if you dont need to provide an address if your wii is tied to a club nintendo account. Thats the only explanation i can think of.

Just thought id pass on the info.

Nice one Importaku - is it tricky to get the Jpn Wii online? For a non Jpn reader that is?

If your using a nintendo wifi dongle its very easy to set it up to get online.

Thats assuming that you can get the dongle running properly on your pc(^_^)

edit: Looks like you dont need a club nintendo account either as i deleted mine off the machine & it still never asked for a country location or address.
