Hi - I'm in the middle of purchasing a Saturn console from Katsujinken and would appreciate any advice on which delivery method is the best to go for.

Go with Special Delivery. No question about it. Although at a cost. Usually for me to send a console or thereabouts that weight, is around ?18.50. The Saturn is light so it should be around the ?12 - ?16 mark. The stuff will get there next day too.
Parcelfarce could do the job slightly cheaper, though in the past they have peeved me off, so i don't even consider them. -
Aye, a heavy laptop and gear went for just shy of ?20 SD, so a console should be alright. I trusted em with ?1000 worth of company laptop, your Saturn should be right as rain.

Special Delivery is about ?6.55 if it's 2Kg or less, or ?18.50 if it's over 2Kg - there's no "in-between" charge. If it's more than 10Kg, then you can't send it via Special Delivery at all.Originally posted by geektanic weezmacht

I take it that this is normal Special Delivery, done through the Post Office (or have I totally missed the point, and this is the name of a dedicated courier service?).

Try www.parcel2go.com. They did next day insured with courier pick up by Securicor Omega Express for ?11 on my Xbox, which obviously weighs more than a Saturn
