I have played a couple of TurboGFX games without problems, however whenever I try and load DKC I get a loss of picture and TV complains: mode not supported. I have tried 50hz, 60hz and Prog Scan, no change, anyone else heard of anyone else with this issue? Itching to play this with the new pad.

Haven't tried any SNES games yet, but I get a similar issue with Genesis titles. TG16 and N64 titles work fine.
Out of interest, if you run one of the games that gives you a black screen and then press the home button on the remote while its running, do you get a picture then? I do.
I've worked around it by taking a composite output from the amp directly to a composite input on the tv. It sees that as NTSC and works fine.
US Wii currently connected via Composite to an AV amp. The amp converts and outputs via HDMI.

Well, I've got a component cable now and the results were similar.
Regarding the loss of picture on the Genesis games, if I monitor the s-video output from the amp, it shows the signal changing from NTSC to PAL at the point picture is lost. Bizzare, as this is a US Wii. Also, Setting the Wii to 480p resulted in a massively overbright picture via component.
There must be something about the video signal from the Wii that is confusing the conversion process in the amp.
However, all is not lost. as if I connect the Wii directly to the TV's component input then everything behaves fine - no loss of picture. Just a PITA to switch that input from HDMI to Component.
