PS2 Component Cable--best one???

Hi all,
Just in NY at the mo and seen a few Component cables for the PS2 for sale but not the official one.
Is there any difference between them or are all PS2 component cables pretty much the same?? Was thinking of picking up a MadCatz one from Gamestop if they are all similar???

Not too sure to be honest mate,would say go official normally but if its only a few bucks id say go for it. My Blaze rgb cable was easily as good as the official.

Not too sure on Mad Catz though. How long you there for?

As a general rule, I'd go official (why do people buy expensive TV's but cheap cables to go with it?!), but if it's cheap there'sno harm in getting it anyway.

Me too mate, but If you read my post I said I couldn't find an offical lead here so wondered about alternatives.
I'm here until next weekend Nick. Haven't had a proper look around really just seen a few 3rd party one is all.

Cool man, whereabouts!? Not sure what were up to Sunday yet mate Girlfriend's really jetlagged also! Nah haven;t really looked to be honst, was going to pick up a Wii if I found one but don't know if I can be arsed to mow through the people in EB or Tower Records etc. to see if they have any. Contented with picking up a few PS2 games for the minute!
