    Component to scart adaptors?

    As thus http://www.tvcables.co.uk/cgi-bin/tv...RGB-SCART.html

Obviously minus the prog scan, do these items work well as if so seem like a decent solution for USA Wii owners with SD tv's.......or do modern tvs support component over scart?

In short can i use this to get the best possible picture on my SD tv over the rgb scart socket?

TV would have to support YPbPr through Scart, which isn't very common really

I'm not sure I've ever actually seen a TV that'll take component over SCART. If you use one of those plugged into an RGB socket, you'll just get a mostly-green picture.

To convert component into RGB, you need a transcoder, which is rather more expensive.

Thats what I figured, seemed a little too obvious seeing as these adaptors are readily available.

Most recent Loewe sets support YPbPr over scart. I would imagine Sharp LCD's would as well.

Buster has a Panasonic that does.
