Xbox 360 - Keyboard and mouse?

Anyone know if a keyboard and mouse can be used on a 360 with games like lord of the rings: battle for middle earth 2 or anything else?

    Cheers.

Not at the moment but there's a 3rd party adapter on the way that'll let you use a keyboard & mouse set up with certain rts & fps games. Don't think a list of support games has been published yet.

The url doesn't work, you need to copy it out in full

hmm I think my internet connection got dodgy, nothing works apart from MSN >_>

Well it is working now for 2 minutes

              link works for me too.

              here's a pic

i think MS's official stance is as it was with the xbox, that kb/mouse in-game is a no-no, but you can use the keyboard in the dashboard to move around and enter info like email addys and whatnot or send messages, which saves loads of time and allows for more eloquent stuff than 'omg pwnd!'

well hopefully they'll get it working on some games, as some games would feel much more natural on a keyboard and mouse.

Obviously the reason for MS's stance was to keep an equal playing field for online titles, else we may end up with messes like Dreamcast Unreal Tournament, where the aim compensation had) meant it was easier to use control pad and rely on assisted aim.

What about games which are cross compatible with PC players? (Shadowrun for example)

yeah sounds about right, and i guess it'd be a bit silly allowing for kb/mouse offline but not online. although, it remains to be seen how this whole 'xbl and windows users all online together' pans out.

mind you, bfme2 isn't an fps is it, so i can't see how that'd be a problem

I'd get one just for Pro Evo... Seems mega expensive though!

Videos of it in action (playing and configuring).

Looks a bit fiddly to setup but if it works...

I wonder if you could use that on PS3 as well so you can use Dual shock on it.
