Where can I find an accurate PAL & NTSC release schedule?

As accurate as is possible, anyway. I've checked on Nintendo Wii site but couldn't find anything useful and I tried google but again, I couldn't find anything useful.

Basically I'm just looking to compare the release schedule to see whether to import a US Wii or not. Don't turn this into a discussion about that though please, I've read the "why should I import a wii" thread and all it comes down to is this.

I've often used ebgames.com and game.co.uk for release schedules. Accurate is not a term I can always associate with them, but its better than nothing. Gamefaqs also has an upcoming release list. I doubt you'd find anything to reliable till Mid January when the Holiday/sales season has died down a little. I imagine publishers like EA are now waiting for console supply issues are on their way to be resolved before working out when to bring out their big games

Usually quite accurate for release dates on other platforms.

You're not wrong. I fear my Wii is going to be sitting around doing nothing once I finish Zelda. Loads of 3rd party titles which don't interest me and too few first party titles.

Yeah, it certainly looks that way. I'll be putting my purchase on hold for a few months to see what else is announced and hopefully there will be more solid release dates by then so I'll have more to compare. Gotta say though, that's a piss poor section of games.

              Thanks for the info.

I'm interested about these titles, plus I still have few launch titles that I want to try. Not shabby list at all, especially as March is always slowest quarter of year. Plus it doesn't even have Elebits and Trauma Center which have been slated for Q1 launch by their developers.

But yeah, I can't really blame anyone for not buying Wii on the launch. Adopting new console early isn't never smartest thing to do with higher accessory and game prices and limited selection.

It's still slated for Q1 by Atlus. Nintendo's release lists don't usually have all titles that are coming out, and also often have some mistakes.

Wario Ware: Smooth Moves (Nintendo) 12 Jan 2007
After playing the pile of wank that was Wario Ware DS, I have no interest in this.
Excite Truck (Nintendo) 16 Feb 2007
Looks ok, but not something I'd pay full price for which means that's another 2-3 months waiting before I can buy it at budget price.
                    Kororinpa (Hudson) 23 Feb 2007
Looks good but I don't really know anything about it (had to google the name).
                    SSXTM Blur (EA) March 2007
Not really interested in SSX anymore since I've played about 4 versions already. Also don't see how the Wiis control system will be of any use to the game without coming off as a gimmick.
Mario Party 8 (Nintendo) March 2007
                    Would buy.
Tiger Woods PGA TOUR? (EA) March 2007
Same as with Excitetruck - not something I'd be interested in paying full price for, so that means another 2-3 months (june-july) til it would be cheap enough to consider.
SonicTM and the Secret Rings (SEGA) March 2007
Looks dull but might be ok.
Metal Slug Anthology (Ignition) Q1 2007
                    Awful controls.
Mortal Kombat: Armageddon (Midway Games) Q1 2007
Port of an average 2 month old fighting game. As with most other games mentioned, I don't see how this can make good use of the Wiis controls.

For NTSC (Jap or US) release dates I tend to use the lists over at wii.ign.com - they tend to leave games on there which they're not sure about, so you see a lot of "TBA 2007" listings on there, but I've found that most of the release dates for major games have been fairly accurate.

Of course, Nintendo are a company that like to keep us guessing... Remember when we thought Zelda TP was going to be coming out a year ago on Cube?! I think it's the first game I've ever had a pre-order in for 2 years before it was released!!!
