Only had my Wii for a few days and I'm a bit confused on the standby light. Is it suppose to be red or yellow when it is off for the night? I noticed that it was red when I pluged it in but I can't get it to switch back to red again. After a day in yellow standby I noticed that the machine was pretty hot when I got back in earlier.

Orange means WiiConnect24 is running, red is off / standby. If you hold down the power button when turning off, it'll "force" it into standby.
I'm surprised the machine is getting hot when it's off though. Mine only gets slightly warm when WiiConnect24 is running. -
Mine was getting pretty hot after a few days, i guess its the wifi ariel.Comment
