Wii and SD cards

I bought a nintendo wii with zelda for an xmas present but its all wrapped up and i havent bought a memory card for it.

Is there internal memory on the system where i can save games to or will i need to rush out and buy an SD card so she can play zelda?

512mb internal memory, Sd card is just really for backups anyway (aside from mp3s in some games and the photo channel)

You'll need a Game Cube memory card to back up Game Cube saves though which is a ****ter considering the Game Cube can use SD cards via an adaptor. I had to buy one today so I could save Bio Hazard 4

On the top of the wii theres 2 flaps, its under those.

Yakumo: the sd card adapter for the gamecube isnt really used for gc saves as such theres only 2 games that even support it (Pokemon channel & Doubutsu no mori e+). Only games that were programmed to look for it will be able to use it. Shame really.
