Which Stepdown Transformer do I need for my Wii?

i have a question. i know it says what transformer to get from that TLC website for the Wii.

Will this one do to use a US Wii in the UK

    http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?...R03D&DOY=24m12

Either the 300 or the 200VA

I know they tend not to have them in stock but would both of them work ok? it wont overpower it or anything?

My other one packed up so i need to get one today and I cant tell on my old one what transformer it was!!! theres no writing on it.

actually... now i come to think of it... would this one work?

I got one off eBay a few days ago here : http://search.stores.ebay.co.uk/Aqua...889198QQsofpZ0

It came within 24hrs of ordering so if you don't manage to find one in the shops give these guys a try.

Im using the exact same 2nd Maplins one that you have linked above. Have had no problems with it at all plus its probably the tidiest and smallest one ive ever had too.

Cutting it a bit fine there....the US PSU's say 53w & the PAL one 52w.

You can't do any damage with a high rated transformer, if that's what you mean. Devices will only draw whatever power they need.
