What do you actually want the laptop for? That's a pretty poor spec and it is quite heavy.
If you need a laptop that is genuinely portable then I would advise you to look elsewhere.

uni work so will be going back and thought uni so need it to be portable

If you don't need any Windows only apps a Macbook has probably got you covered. And with Bootcamp you can still install XP if need be anyway.

Probably worth bumping the RAM to 1GB IMO.
