    Boot Camp

So I installed this earlier, but I can't figure out how to get back onto OS X?

How do I choose between that and Windows?

From the Apple support page (so it must be right)

How do I choose which operating system to start up (boot) into?

After running Boot Camp Beta and installing Windows XP and the Macintosh Drivers CD, you can switch between Windows XP and Mac OS X by holding Option (Alt) key when you start up. You can also use the Startup Disk control panel in Windows or Mac OS X Startup Disk preferences to set the default operating system to use each time the computer starts up.

You might also want to try installing rEFIt: http://refit.sourceforge.net/

This is a bootloader that's quite configurable, and gives you the drive choice every time you reboot the system without having to hold anything. (I've got it set to boot my OSX drive after 10 seconds if there's no user input)

As Ginger Tosser said, first set your default boot disc back to the OSX partition (it gets changed to the Boot Camp partition to allow you to install Windows). Then just use the option key during startup to load a selection menu.

You might also want to check out Parallels too if you have enough system resources on your Mac. It now allows you to use the Boot Camp partition as a virtual machine so you can run your Windows installation from within OSX without needing to reboot.

I run Parallels on my MacMini (1.66 1gb) without any problem. Its not going to set the world alight with its windows performance, but it does the job. I also run my parallels sessions via an external firewire hdd. This seems to do a fine job.

            Thanks guys

Also, can anyone recommend some good free antibirus/spyware software please? McAfee's a bit rubbish.

Do you mean for Mac or Windows?
