N64: Memory card adapters.

Was there ever an adapter released for the n64 that let you hook a memory card up without having a controller attached?

I was giving my girl a warm send off last night with some rumble-ishious Mario 64 and would have preferred to have a box sticking out of her rather than a extra controller.

I took apart a controller this morning and I should be able to cut the circuit board down enough for it to fit into a small box. But if I made one it would look bloody nasty and would break whenever it was knocked.

Hopefully a third party will save the day.

No there was nothing made by 3rd partys like that as there was no reason to do so.
