Whats this error msg I just got all about then?

I botted up me PC this morning & when it got to the OS main screen I got the following message:

Application failed to initialize: 0x800106ba. Problem caused Windows Defender Service to stop. To start service, restart your computer.


I tried restarting & got the same msg. I've tried about 5 more times & I get the same thing. It just wont dissappear.

Does this mean that my PC's security progs arent active?

Any techies out there that can help me out on this one please?

Try uninstalling/reinstalling windows defender.

I uninstalled windows defender off someone's PC. Helped no end (slow laptop).
