PS3 Power Enquiry

Apologies to any Moderators or Administrators if I have this in the wrong place in the forum or topic but I'm new to these forums

Anyways, I have bought a PlayStation 3 from eBay and it says on the listing that the PS3 is 220v and the listing says that the PS3 can be powered by a UK plug.

But I've heard of such things called Stepdown Converters because of different voltage in other countries.

Can anyone help me here and tell me if I need to buy a Stepdown Converter or just get an adaptor which will work in my UK plug.

Just plug is straight in. Multivoltage PSU inside the unit. 5amp fuse ftw.
