use a component -> VGA transcoder like the VD-Z3, around £40 - £50 but will supply excellent quality...

The above is the only way, though it will spit out a 1280x720 or 1920x1080 signal, so your screen will hvae to be capable of those resolutions.

You will want to be using this with a widescreen monitor remember, or there's no point.
And most PC monitors are 16:10 rather than 16:9, so the image will be slightly stretch. Nothing too bad though, you won't notice it unless you see it side-by-side.

Couldn't you also get a HDMI -> DVI converter, if your monitor supports DVI?

I think someone said your monitor has to support HDCP.

Why would your monitor have to support HDCP? They let you play through composite, component, s video, and scart which don't support HDCP, but they won't let you play on your monitor because it doesn't?

And doesn't DVI already support it?

Lastly, afaik, HDCP only matters for blu ray movies, and even then, only in movies that care (which there aren't any yet).

My VD-Z3 can't (at least not with the 360 it can't).
