Best XBOX 360 deals right now?

Before I go ahead and get the deal which follows -- the best I have seen -- can anyone recommend any better?

Premium system
Gears of War
All the usual jazz
£275.89

I'm happy to get either (1) a good value/cheap XBOX 360 premium console alone, (2) a premium console with Gears of War for a better price, or (3) the same as option 2 but with another game and still good value (i.e. another 20-25 more).

Before anyone suggests Game, I have seen their £300 offer for premium system, GOW and Tomb Raider (among maybe one or two others) but that second game doesn't appeal to me.

ETA: Just saw a deal on Play.com for a £270 premium console with a few extras, PGR3 and WWE. Only problem is that it doesn't come with GOW but I could of course buy this seperate if the deal is good enough. This deal might be if no one knows of an equal/similar/better one.

Looks like a good deal to me - best I've seen was ?279.99 for a similar package.

What's annoying me about the XB360 is that you still can't put together a simpler, cheaper mid-range package based around the Core system. What I've been looking for is console + hardrive + wired controller + component cable and nothing else. Can you buy it that way? No! You're stuck with this unwanted bundle system, paying for stuff you don't want or need.

Im in the same boat STILL, cant decide what package to get, so in the end i jus brought a new TV lol (needed one anyways, been like 16 year lol!) The thing that held me back from taking the plunge is the so called iminant price drop with the new year and the soon to arrive (me thinks) PS3. Unless you desperatley need one, i mean there's a lot of good games out at the mo, then id wait till it has some sort of reduction. I can see MS doing something when the PS3 hits, thats for sure.

Was over Game at Lakeside today & they were doing Premium 360 + Gears of War + 1 game from a list of 5 titles (which i think were pretty much all the recent budget re-releases) for ?299 which doesnt seem too bad to me.

Premium console, Dead Rising, Gears of War, Viva Pinata LE, plus PGR3, Live Arcade Unplugged and an extra wireless conitroller. £340 the lot.

But to help others and update my own findings: both PC World and Currys are doing a deal that's ?299 for the premium system, a few extra bits (inc/ extra wireless controller IIRC) and two top games (I would go for Rainbow Six: Vegas and Gears of War, which was an option).

Probably the best deal I've seen actually. Problem is, stock where I live is horsecrap so I'm going to need to travel a little to pick it up.

The other option is to wait as I'm not desperate by any means... but I do kind of fancy one now.
