Howdo fellas. Was hoping you might be able to help me out.
I've got a Sharp LC-32GA6E 32" LCD panel into which I'm running a Samsung upscaling DVD player through HDMI, my Wii through Component and my Xbox 360 through VGA.
Recently I have started to notice vertical "smearing" down from the centre of the screen to the right hand side in small bands which I originally thought was some sort of motion blur but on closer inspection it seems to be on the screen even when the image is still.
Also when looking at a black screen the top right corner of the panel appears to be lighter than anywhere else and when credits for things like films etc are rolling the area to the left and right of them is darker than the black anywhere else, like a giant shadow (if that makes any sense). This was especially telling when I played F Zero GX on the Wii earlier when either side of the SEGA logo when it boots were actually red when the whole background is black!!
What I'm trying to find out is: is my TV fubar or are there any little fixes people know of to sort things like ghosting?
Any help received would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
teddymeow.
