GT4 (PS2) on PS3 - 1080i option?

Anyone tried Jpn GT4 in a PS3, if so can you still get the 1080i option?

I've tried a US copy in a US PS3, 1080i option is still there and works.

No probs, still doesn't look too nice though. Still has underscan on my LCD TV and isn't a great deal different to 480p.

I play on a projector..at approx 7ft diagonal 1080i makes a bit of difference

Anyway, I know I'll get bored of GTHD demo and with no GT game for god knows how long..GT4 will keep me interested

I imagine it will on a projector :P Clearly GTHD has spoilt us, I went back to both GT4 on the PS3 at 1080i and GT2 on my PSP and I simply couldn't believe how bad they looked and how slow they seemed to run :/
