    PS3 6axis triggers?

What are they like? Any good?

I'm not a fan myself. Biggest complaint being they curve outwards, not inwards like the 360/DC ones. Sounds minor, but this makes it actually hard to keep your fingers on them for long periods of time without slipping.

Decided today that the R2 and L2 buttons are not nice.

If you assign accelerate on RR7 to R2,and use your index finger, which feels the most natural, instead of your second finger, the right hand handle then slides away and out of your clasped hand.

Anyone else agree/have this most troubling problem?

(as posted by me in the PS3 impressions thread)

I've never used analogue triggers for racing games but for those who do, the analogue triggers on the sixaxis pad might leave some disappointed, eh?

Totally agree Nick. The L2/R2 and the flimsy build (cos it's so light) are the only things spoiling PS3 for me..

I feel pretty much the same way. I think the pad is really nice but the triggers really detract from it. It feels like they were added as an afterthought tbh. Your fingers slip off far too often and they're a far too 'spongy' to give any real analogue control.

The triggers on the 360 pad are so much better it hurts.
