Cheapest place for a new pal Gamecube?

I know that most shops cleared out the gamecubes a long time ago, but are there any going dirt cheap now the wii is out?? Thanks.

The best new deal I found was 3 months ago at Argos ?45 for the attractive pearl white GC + Smash Football bundle. But I had to reserve it very quickly after I found it online and travel miles out of my way to the specific store which had it. They wouldn't deliver or transfer stock between stores to a more local one. I'd guess such deals are long gone but they're worth a look.

Amazon UK had GCs last time I checked but they're still around ?80. A good tip for Amazon is to try Amazon fr. (France) instead. They often have items Amazon UK don't and the EURO/? exchange rate sometimes means there are bargains to be had. However, if you go that route I check first that a French GC is electrically compatible with the UK power supply etc. I think it is but can't confirm for sure.

I've got a pearl white PAL Cube bundle here... it was bought for someone in the US but after 3 months still not had the money for it yet. If he don't hurry it up, I may sell it on. Interested?

(it might get him off his arse, or he might eventually pass)

Would sell it for the price I paid, £60, plus shipping.

If you're looking for it that cheap you're probably not going to get a new GC ever. That ?45 deal ^^ was the first time I'd seen it under ?50 since Currys sold off their few remaining stock at ?25 almost a year ago - I missed out on that and had been looking for one ever since.

You'd be better off looking for a good used GC - those are much more common at under ?40. GAME were doing a Zelda TP + used GC bundle at around ?50 before Christmas but otherwise they're usually priced at about ?35.

if you intend on using it for imports old fella me lad

unsure if you are aware but the platinum and Pearl white ones seem a little iffy about using the free loader

i know a chap on here (johnboy1967) had to buy a 3rd because his first 2 choices would support any freeloader

Is there any particular Freeloader version that causes the reported problem?

I've been thinking of buying Freeloader and was wondering what the differences were between v.1.6b and v.1.6c and, if one didn't work properly, whether the other might.

BTW: ^^^As said you might be waiting a long time for a cheap new GC. Stock was run down by most high street sources long before the Wii appeared. That's where any bargains were.

I bought two new DCs from GAME, when that was cancelled, at under ?30 each. That's now less than the typical used priced and new you can be playing ?70+ if you can even find a genuine seller.
