RGB & Surround sound from my Wii?

Gents, is there any way to achieve the above?

I can have compos(h)ite and the (pal) Wii connected to my amp, but have an RGB enabled scart socket sitting there doing nothing and it seems such a waste, no component tho'

Has anyone seen any of those leads like you used to get for PStwo light gun games with the litte R/W/Y socket half way along the cable, or am i missing something more obvious?

    Thanks in advance.

I use a scart to phono adaptor with an input/output switch on it, and connect it to any free scart socket, then switch it to output. This gives me the white and red phono outputs you need for surround sound from a Wii. Hope that helps!

Does your TV have the red and white audio outputs on the back? If it does you should be able to run the Wii's audio output from the TV into your amp. That's how I get Pro Logic from my PS2 and Wii, since it saves using up inputs on my amp when I can just use the TV to switch between them.

Most 3rd party Cables have the sound cables separate, I bet GAME do one.

It does, but I tries that and it wouldn't output anyhting from the white cable, I tried two different ones

I may just wait as the third party market hasn't really picked up yet and the splitter option may work in the mean time.

Ok tried, the red & whites from the TV and got surround sound form the PS2, I'm assuming it's the comp' cable form the Wii, which I HAVE set to surround sound.

I have won an official RGB cable form E(vil)bay today and will let people know!
