    AfterBurner Climax/ HOTD4 possibilities?

Anyone see either of these recent/new Lindbergh arcade games being converted to 360/PS3?

With the advent of VF5 now being announced for both machines I think it seems more likely that these could be ported over, but as yet nothing has been announced.

I read recently in GTM that HOTD4 was destined for PS3, but I have not seen this reported on any sites. What I really want is both o these on 360 dammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmit.

I reckon PS3 conversions of all Sega arcade titles are pretty much guaranteed because it's a piece of cake to port it over. 360 I don't know about but VF5 has got to be a promising start.

Oh, but in answer to your question I don't actually know anything, just speculating.

Just completed HOTD4 on two player this weekend.
Good stuff, although I think this is a fine addition to the series, generally speaking better than 2, I do think it has the weakest boss' of any HOTD.

I had only played it once before and was not that great, this coupled w/ the fact that my brothers grenade button was ****ed meant we had to drop ?20 to finish it off. It was all good tho.

Just looking at a recent issue of PS3 next, they have HOTD4 penciled in as an August release. I kinda get the feeling that any arcade game Sega now release on PS3, will also be coming to 360.
      Here's hoping.

The HDTV Lightgun issues may put pay to that though, unless they can find a decent solution to it.

I think HOTD4 in the arcade is already running in HD, hence Sega must have the lightguns to run on LCD now!

I think it uses four seperate sensors at the top, bottom, right and left of the screen to detect the positioning. Unfortunately, I can't see many people wanting that on their home TV.

oh! fair enough - although i'd happily add the sensors if they make a home release!

Surely a wii inspired solution (1 bar) would suffice?

Wii would not have a chance in hell of running HOTD4.

Isn’t there already a light gun available for the PS2 that runs on plasma/LCD screens?

I think he was saying using the same method ie a sensor bar for other consoles.

Hopefully Virtua Cop 3 will get a release too, altough now it's very dated probably (2003 I think).
