jap 360 vga - probably a n00b question

i couldn't see anything on this so apologies if it has been discussed and i've missed it

i wish to join the big boys club of japanes 360 owners and am looking to buy a machine in the near future

i currently have a pal machine that connects to my lcd tv through the magic of vga

my question is: will a vga lead purchased in the uk work with a japanese machine?

i assume it will but the scary world of leads and stuff confuses me so i just want to ask to be on the safe side
