    Wii 50hz issue?

Are there any PAL Wii games that dont have a 60hz option and if so does using 50hz make it roughly 10% slower and effect gameplay?

And can we expect ALL future PAL releases to support 60hz, if not 480p?

I believe there are already some games that are 50Hz only, and there's at least 3 titles that only support interlaced, and aren't even widescreen.

If you've got any interest in virtual console games, buy a US machine, PAL is a mess.

Most PAL games are fairly well optmised in this day and age so I wouldn't worry about the actual games themselves. You sometimes get a bit of slowdown in PAL games that you don't get in the NTSC versions.

Virtual Console games are almost aways 17.5% slower

Some 3rd Party games on Wii are only 50Hz, I've seen a list some time ago, but I can't find it atm.

Yeah, that's the sad truth.. all you're gettin are unmodded pal machines except for the PC Engine emulation.

MGS3, was a fantastic 50hz full screen jobby, but as a result of the higher resolution that PAL offers, it suffered from alo tmore slowdown than the US version.

It is quite common for it to happen in PAL games.
