EMS or airmail?

Just checking, Which of these delivery methods are you least likely to get charged import tax/clearance fees on when having a package delivered from Japan?

its becuase i think its insured , so they have to put the correct amount on of what the package is worth.
correct me if am wrong.

Well the last thing i ordered from playasia had a clearance fee of ?13.50 slapped on it and that was via EMS so I might try airmail although its somewhat slower I think...

I got Viewtiful Joe from play-asia, by airmail.
I had no import taxes, and the airmail enveloppe said 'Video game sample' with a value of '13.29 USD'.

It was sent on monday, and fridaymorning it was in my mailbox. So it isn't too slow.
On the other hand, I had a VGA-box mailed by airmail last wednesday, and it stil hasn't arrived.

Well i ordered an SP and you know how tiny that box is, but it still got the charge. Ah well im not ordering from play asia anyway, PreistJPN usually refunds import charges so I should be ok.
