60hz NTSC on a PAL N64 w/ Passport III adaptor???

Hello. I'm thinking of buying a 'Passport III' so I can play NTSC games on my PAL N64.

Will the games run at 60HZ?

    Will I experience noticeable slowdown?

Anyone with some N64 importing experience please help me out. I have no idea with this one. Maybe the cart determines 60/50 Hz like how you choose 50/60 HZ when booting up GCN games. Is the N64 hardware different in NTSC regions beyond the power adaptor and cart slot lockout?

I remember buying Starfox on US import on it's release for the N64 a few years ago,i got a free import adaptor with it and it ran fullscreen on my pal N64.
I also got a US beatem-up at the same time which also ran fullscreen(can't remember the name something Drift ???)
    It's a few years ago but i don't recall any problems 8)

      Thanks for the reply Fuzzybee.

Even if the games ran at 50HZ I'd like to know if the Passport III does the job well. Is it reliable? After all a good amount of PAL N64 stuff was poor 50hz ports, so am I going to notice?

The game Im after is Sin & Punishment (JAP). Will it run at good speed and with no f'ups thru the passport III?

yep as gamelife so rightly says the passport adaptor runs most stuff at full screen ,full speed.I think the N64 has some sort of auto switch in it for speed changing between 50 and 60 hz.

The passport 3 is super reliable and most if not all games work with it.

            Thanks guys.

I think I made a mistake cancelling my Sin & Punishment order.

That game's an essential purchase even if you don't have an N64.
